OUROBOROS

“At once he became an enigma. One side or the other of his nature was perfectly comprehensible; but both sides together were bewildering.”
― Jack London,

It had no eyes because outside itself there was nothing to be seen. It had no ears because there was nothing outside itself to listen to. This creature was a self-eating and circular being.  It only has the ability to move and writhe in its circular nature that represented the essence of its being.

Integration and assimilation of the opposite, this 'feed-back' process is at the same time a symbol of immortality.  It slays himself and brings himself to life, fertilizes himself and gives birth to himself. He symbolizes the One, who proceeds from the clash of opposites, and he therefore constitutes the secret of the prima materia. It personifies the interplay and interaction of the opposing forces in the dualistic world of manifestation, leading to their union, and ultimately to harmony in the universe.

Seen though the filter of the act of creation, it express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create and evidences the character of its creator and the context of its creation in a brief, continuous period of time.
